In the mid-80s Jessica Steen appeared as the daughter of the character played by
Lindsay Wagner in the TV movie Young Again. From there she landed guest spots on
Canadian-produced series such as Night Heat, Sweating Bullets, and Street Legal. In '89 she co-starred in the musical Sing, and it was then she decided to move to New York. During a five-week stint she subbed for pregnant actress Noelle Beck on the daytime drama Loving. The limited gig raised her profile enough to result in a co-starring role as Linda, the union organizer, on the 92-93 critically acclaimed drama series Homefront.
Jessica's Canadian motion picture credits include Flying, Still Life and John and the Missus. She was a regular on the syndicated series Captain Power. Among her TV movies are High Country and Small Gifts, a Gemini Award winning performance.
During 1994-95, Jessica portrayed a genetically enhanced doctor in the NBC TV science-fiction series Earth 2. She has also made numerous appearances on television series.
