Julia Roberts grew up in Georgia with her brother Eric [also an actor] and sister Lisa. She attended Griffin Middle School and then Campbell High.
      Like many performers, she got her start in the modeling industry and at one point was contracted with the Click agency. Television followed, but she soon found herself doing feature films. From early on her talent and beauty caught the attention of filmmakers and critics alike, especially with her role in "Mystic Pizza." This led to the ensemble drama "Steel Magnolias" opposite such screen greats at Sally Field and Shirley McClaine. Her next film, "Pretty Woman," was not only the top-grossing film of 1990, but with its success Julia found herself in the ranks of super stardom. This was followed by a series of other $100 million plus films, including "Sleeping With The Enemy," "Hook," and "The Pelican Brief." Box-office success meant only one thing...Julia was not only the most sought after actress in Hollywood, but one of the highest paid. And with good reason; collectively her films have earned over 2.5 billion dollars worldwide.
      Chosen by People magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the world in both 1990 and 1991, it's no wonder she has been seen on the arms of many of Hollywood's eligible bachelors, and for a short time was married to country singer, Lyle Lovett. In July of 2002, Julie tied the knot with cameraman Danny Moder.
