Tare Reid began working in commercials at an early age, and soon enough started landing parts on television shows, including a childrens game show called "Child's Play". She went to the Professional Children's School in New York City, which was also attended by classmates Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jerry O'Connell and Macualay Culkin to name a few.
      The sexy five-foot-five siren made her feature film debut as Bunny Lebowski in the Cohen brother's black comedy, "The Big Lebowski". Work continued steady with such roles in the thriller "Urban Legend", a bit part in "Cruel Intentions" as one of Ryan Phillippe's many sexual con- quests, and in the independent flick "Girl" opposite Sean Patrick Flanery. But it was her winning appearance in the blockbuster teen flick "American Pie" that really brought her to the attention of audiences, and set many a young man's heart aflutter with lust.
      "Dr. T. & the Women" followed, with Reid playing one of Richard Gere's daughters. She also appeared in the upcoming Disney comedy production of "Just Visiting" which involves a medieval knight and servant who are transported to modern-day Chicago. She also made beautiful music alongside Rachael Leigh Cook and Rosario Dawson as drummer Melody in the comic book-to-feature film adaptation of "Josie And The Pussycats".
      Her brother Tommy is also in the entertainment business and is currently running his own production company. Tara got engaged to MTV VJ Carson Daly on October 30th 2000, and has plans for a Summer 2001 wedding.
