Carrie-Anne Moss grew up with her two older siblings in Vancouver, Canada. At the age of eleven she began to perform in school musicals and during her senoir year she was chosen to tour Europe with the school choir. This gave her a taste of the world of entertainment and not long after Carrie-Anne set out on her own, moving to Europe. It didn't take long for her good looks to prevail and she soon landed modeling jobs which brought her contracts with international magazines.
      It was while working in Spain that Moss got a regular role in the television series, Dark Justice, which was produced in Barcelona for the first season. When the series switched shooting locations, Carrie-Anne found herself in the movie industry captial of the world...Hollywood.
      In the years that followed, Carrie-Anne starred and guest starred in numerous television series, feature films, stage, and even earned a Gemini Award nomination in the Best Actresses category for her guest spot on the TV series, Due South. But it wasn't until her co-starring role opposite Keanu Reeves in the blockbuster hit, The Matrix, did she finally receive the recognition she deserved.
