ANDIE MACDOWELL

The youngest of four daughters, Andie Macdowell dropped out of Winthrop College in 1978 and moved to
New York, where her stunning good looks got her signed with the Elite Model Management agency.
She ended up being L'Oreal's exclusive model for several years.
Tragically, 1982 her mother died of a heart attack at the age of 53. However, Andie believes
her mother is still involved in her life, and is convinced that all the great things
that happened to her have come to her through her mother's angelic intercession.
Including her 1986 marriage to Paul Qualley who she met during a GAP fashion shoot.
She made her acting debut in 'Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes" in 1984,
but the acclaimed, "Sex,
Lies and Videotape" in '89 is considered by some to be the real starting point of her acting career.
Andie lives on the 1,200-hectare Montana ranch she shares with her husband and three children.
