Angelina Jolie plays Lanie Kerrigan, an ambitious TV anchorwoman, whose perfect life is turned upside down when she interviews the "Prophet", a homeless man whose strange predictions generally come true. When he tells her that she'll be dead by next Thursday, Lanie must reevaluate her "perfect" life.
