NATASHA HENSTRIDGE

      Natasha Henstridge grew up with her parents and younger brother in Fort McMurray, Alberta. At the tender age of fourteen she left home to break into the highly competitive Paris fashion industry, after winning a prize in a 1989 modeling contest. Competitive or not, the French recognized a beauty when they saw one and at fifteen Natasha landed her first cover on French Cosmopolitan.
      Having had a taste of acting in school, the transition to commercials, then film work came naturally for Natasha. Her first role was in the sci-fi thriller Species, followed by a co-starring role in Maximum Risk opposite Jean-Claude Van Damme.
      Natasha was married to Damian Chapa in 1995. They divorced a year later. She has one son, Tristan River Waite, with Liam Waite.
