JENNA ELFMAN
September 30, 1971
Los Angeles, California
Jenna Elfman was raised in Los Angeles and at first thought she wanted to be a nun. But as it turned out, she was very noisy in class and it was then she discovered she wanted to be an entertainer.
Jenna began her career in commercials and later expanded her horizons by studying with renowned acting teacher Milton Katselas. She has guest-starred in such television programs as "Roseanne," "Murder One," and "NYPD Blue".
Aside from television, Jenna has starred in many music videos, including the Antrax video for Crossroads Films which received an MTV Best Music Video Award nomination. And it was due to her training in classical dance since first grade, that ultimately helped her become a ZZ Top's Legs Girl in 1994.
After the TV series "Townies" was canceled, both ABC and FOX wanted her for their networks, but Jenna opted to stay with ABC and got her own show, "Dharma & Greg".
She made the move into feature films with her role in "Grosse Point Blank", in 1997 opposite John Cusack. "Krippendorf's Tribe" soon followed.
