Educated in the English public school tradition Minnie Driver is the personification of the British stiff upper lip but her skill for Anglo-American accents has seen her appear in a range of rolls on both sides of the Atlantic.
      Currently making her move into the big league in Hollywood she had a much publicised relationship with "Good Will Hunting" co-star Matt Damon but has been making sure her own light is not hidden behind others with a string of well received talk show appearances.
      Ammelia, to give her her proper name, is another former Bond girl who made sure she would not forever be tied to 007's bevvy of beauties, from a Russian Cabaret star doing American Country and Western in "Goldeneye", Minnie has gone on to carve a career as a sassy, independent American or as the oh so English rose.
