JULIE DELPY

      Julie is the only daughter of french stage actors Albert Delpy and Marie Pillet. At the age of five Julie made her stage debut, showing early on she had the taste for a life of entertainment.
      Although a huge success in Europe, Julie's heart was for the American entertainment industry, and several times a year she would make the journey overseas to New York. Finally in 1990, she made the move permanent. Delpy pursued formal training in directing and graduated first in her class from New York University.
      American audiences first saw her in The Three Musketeers and Younger And Younger. But it was her role as an art student/hooker/bank employee who inadvertently becomes involved with a bank robber in Killing Zoe that brought her the most attention.
      Delpy is fluent in three languages; French, English, and Italian, as well as some Spanish and German. She loves to play chess, and appreciates the more simple things in life.
