Like so many other thespians, Claudia Black began her acting career in theatre, performing and honing her skills in such productions as Portrait Of Dorian Gray, Little Women and Merchant of Venice. She made the transition to television by starring and co-starring in several Australian productions. Her feature film debut came with the sci-fi thriller Pitch Black, but she is probably best known for her portrayal of the complex soldier Aeyrn Sun in the television series Farscape. She has also been a guest star on the popular TV series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, opposite Kevin Sorbo.
On her off time, Claudia enjoys meeting people and counts travel among her favorite pastimes. Aside from acting, her other talents include professional singing with a concentration in jazz and classical music.
