WILLIAM HURT

Since his father worked for the State Department, William Hurt spent many years living in different parts of the world including Guam, Somalia and Sudan.
After his graduation from Tufts University, where he discovered his love and talent for acting,
William joined the Circle Repertory Company in 1976 and a few years later got the lead in
the strange sci-fi thriller Altered States.
Despite a reputation for being a temperamental perfectionist, William has established
himself as one of Hollywood's finest actors. His more notable movies include Broadcast
News, and Kiss of the Spider Woman, for which he won an Oscar for Best Actor.
William has four children; two with Heidi Henderson. One with Sandra Jennings, and a daughter with Sandrine Bonnaire.
