Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana and raised in the Houston area, Sean Patrick Flanery attended
the University of St. Thomas for Business Studies. While he was there he began doing theatre
and fell in love with acting, and decided to move to Los Angeles in order to pursue it as a
full-time career. After attending the university, he followed through on his decision and
within a year he had signed with an agent and began starring in television and film productions.
Flanery was chosen from hundreds of hopefuls to star in the title role of the acclaimed
television series "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles," a part which had him traveling to more
than 50 countries in four years.
Sean went on to receive critical acclaim for his performance in the film "Powder" and was
recently seen in "Suicide Kings" with Jay Mohr and Christopher Walken and in the romantic
comedy "Simply Irresistable" starring opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar. - Photo: Unknown
