University Of North Carolina - [RDL]
Objective: Students take classes in voice, movement, contemporary and period scene study, audition techniques, dialects, and related course work in academic or performance disciplines. The program consists of a core of acting courses and practicum experiences all students take and a series of electives the student selects in consultation with his/her advisor. Internships are required for students without past experience in summer theatre or a professional equivalent. During their course of study, students can expect to perform three major, or supporting roles, in the Mainstage, Summer Theatre, Studio, or Theatre for Young People seasons.

Children's Workshop Theatre - [RDL]
Objective: a non-profit educational organization out of Greensboro, NC, conducts after-school classes, workshops, and performances for children in K-12th grades. All Childrens are invited to participate in any of the activities. The program emphasizes literature, vocabulary, storytelling, writing, music, and creativity. Students may volunteer to perform in main stage plays. There are no auditions.
